PKS Suggests Chinese Muslim Involvement In Multitrack Diplomacy

BEIJING - The involvement of China's Muslim minorities in multitrack diplomacy between countries of Indonesia and the People's Republic of China (PRC) is important in order to achieve mutual understanding and cooperation.
This was conveyed by the head of the delegation of Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Sigit in a meeting with Director General of International CPC Yuan Zhibing in Wanshou, Beijing (8/2/2018).
"Currently, it should be acknowledged that China's role can not be excluded either in the context of bilateral relations between the two countries, regional, and international," Sigit said. This is because China's last 20 years under the leadership of President Xi Jinping has grown into an economic giant to be reckoned with.
While related to the atheist and communist ideology that became the breath of Chinese socialism, Sigit asserted that Indonesia as the most populous Muslim country in the world has a series of dark history of the Communist Party of Indonesia. "And the first principle of our nation's foundation, Pancasila, affirms that Indonesian must believe in One God," continued Sigit.
The PKS and the National Mandate Party (PAN) and the National Awakening Party (PKB) are invited by the Chinese authorities to conduct a comparative study, especially to the Hui Ethnic Muslim Autonomous Region in Ningxia where ethnic and religiosity relations are maintained harmoniously.
Ningxia autonomous region, the provincial level, is a stepping stone to the success of Xi Jinping both in terms of inter-ethnic harmonization and poverty alleviation. Currently Ningxia autonomous region is a pilot province whose economic growth rate is running very fast in China.
